ผ่านไปอย่างสวยงาม กับ “มหกรรมนิยายนานาชาติ ครั้งที่ 1” (International Novel Festival 2019)  ที่เนรมิตงานบุ๊คแฟร์เป็น 7 เมืองนิยายสุดอลังการ ณ สามย่านมิตรทาวน์ จัดโดย ร้านนายอินทร์ ในเครือบริษัท อมรินทร์ บุ๊ค เซ็นเตอร์ จำกัด และ พันธมิตร 200 สำนักพิมพ์ และเครือร้านอาหารชั้นนำ ได้จัดสรรค์ นิยายไว้มากที่สุดกว่า 10,000 เรื่อง พร้อมฉีกกฎรูปแบบงานบุ๊คแฟร์แบบเดิม ผ่านการตกแต่งธีมงาน 7 เมืองนิยาย ซึ่งมีครบครันทั้งกิจกรรมร่วมสนุก อาหาร ขนมและเครื่องดื่มเลิศรสบนพื้นที่กว่า 2,000ตารางเมตร โดยถึงแม้ว่าจะเป็นครั้งแรกของการจัดงานบุ๊คแฟร์รูปแบบใหม่ แต่ก็ได้รับการตอบรับที่ดีมากทั้งจากผู้มาร่วมงานและกระแสในโลกโซเชียล ซึ่งถือว่าบรรลุวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดงาน ที่ต้องการสนับสนุนให้คนทุกกลุ่มอายุ ทุกเพศ ทุกวัย ได้เลือกใช้เวลาว่างให้เกิดประโยชน์ แล หันมาใช้เวลากับการอ่านหนังสือมากยิ่งขึ้น

อีกหนึ่งความพิเศษของงานนี้คือผู้ร่วมงานได้ร่วมกันแสดงพลังสร้างสรรค์ในฐานะนักอ่านรักษ์โลก เพราะภายในงานงดแจกถุงพลาสติก และมีการเชิญชวนให้ทุกคนนำถุงผ้ามาช้อปแทน โดยมีการออกแบบและผลิตผ้า Fabric Society ที่สามารถ พับ-พัน-ผูก-หิ้วหนังสือแทนกระเป๋า และจุดเริ่มต้นในการก้าวสู่สังคมไร้พลาสติกต่อไป

นอกจากนี้ภายในงาน ยังมีการจัดงานมอบรางวัล  Naiin Readers’ Awards 2019 ได้แก่ ที่สุดของนิยายแปลแห่งปี อันดับที่ 1-5 และ ที่สุดของนิยายไทยแห่งปี อันดับที่ 1-5 ซึ่งมอบให้กับนิยายที่ได้รับความนิยมจากนักอ่านตัวจริง ผ่านพลังการโหวตจากผู้อ่านกว่า 10,000 ราย เพื่อเป็นการสร้างกำลังใจให้กับผู้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานในการพัฒนาผลงานนิยายคุณภาพ ที่สร้างสรรค์ออกมาด้วยความทุ่มเท และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับนักเขียนรุ่นใหม่ที่จะเกิดขึ้นต่อไป

นับเป็นครั้งแรกในประเทศไทยที่มีการจัดงานบุ๊คแฟร์ลักษณะนี้ขึ้น และจากความสำเร็จของงานที่เกิดขึ้นในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นการตอกย้ำบทบาทของเครือบริษัท อมรินทร์ บุ๊ค เซ็นเตอร์ จำกัด ในการเป็นผู้นำในการสร้างและเป็นตัวแทนนำพลังสร้างสรรค์ของคนรุ่นใหม่มาใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์กับสังคม และมั่นใจได้ว่างานมหกรรมนิยายนานาชาติ ครั้งที่ 1 นี้ ได้สร้างหมุดหมายสำคัญให้เกิดขึ้นในวงการหนังสือในประเทศไทย และทำให้แฟนๆหนังสือนิยายเฝ้ารอการจัดงานงานมหกรรมนิยายนานาชาติ ในปีต่อๆไป

The International Novel Festival 2019 has been created and ended beautifully by Naiin Book Store, a conglomerate of Amarin Book Center Co, Ltd. and its alliances of 200 publishers and several restaurant chains. For the very first time that a book fair event was created under the theme of the 7 Magnificent Novel Lands that was filled with more than 10,000 novels and fun activities, food and beverages on 2,000 sqm. space at Sam Yan Mitr Town. Even though it was typically “first of a kind” event but the response from the fans was magnificent. Thus, the goals of the event to encourage people at all ages and genders to spend more time on reading has been successfully completed.

There was also a chance for all participants to show their enthusiasm for creativity in terms of anti-global warming readers by not using plastic bags for shopping at the event and brining their own fabric bags to carry books. There was also the selling of “Fabric Society” piece of fabric at the event so the readers could use it as another choice for carrying books and begin the first step further to 0% plastic society.

Moreover, there was also the Naiin Readers’ Awards 2019 that gave awards to the top 5 of international novels and Thai novels via the popular votes from more than 10,000 fans. These awards are created to cherish the hard works and dedication of all novel creators in order to keep up the good work and keep on inspiring young authors.

It was the first time in Thailand for this kind of book fair to be created. Its success reflects the role of Amarin Book Center Co, Ltd. in the industry as the leader to bring up brand new creativity and young generation’s power into real practice that creates positive vibe to the society. It is certain that the 1^st The International Novel Festival has created an important footprint in Thailand’s book industry and received huge success from the fans.
